Then I thought so what's stopping me now? Started with meeting my long time hero: rock legend Arthur Lee.&#13;

	&lt;p&gt;&lt;a href="http://maybethepeople.blogspot.com/2006/03/arthur-lee-rock-legend-and-my-long.html#links"&gt;Arthur lee&lt;/a&gt; was The Man to me when I was in my teens, well he still is really (not counting My Old Man, of course who is exceptionally understanding on this point).&lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;In 2002, I was pretty settled - children 17 and 20, teaching in high school with some exam board work which took me away around the UK, nice house, nice car, mountain of fabric and assorted beads etc from the creative past.  When I saw that Arthur Lee was touring the UK, I thought why not? and that's how it started.  &lt;/p&gt;
	&lt;p&gt;The best bit about the photo is that Martyn who took it couldn't get the camera to work, so I had to stand there with Arthur Lee's arm round my shoulders for ages.&lt;/p&gt;
